Mumbai: Klay, a global boutique financial services firm, has announced the appointment of Ravinder Singh as Managing Director – Wealth Management. He brings more than 27 years of experience across wealth management, investment banking, and structured finance. Singh has previously held senior leadership roles at leading institutions like HSBC, Credit Suisse, Barclays, BNP Paribas, and UBS.

In his new role at Klay, Singh will oversee the firm’s wealth management expansion in India, catering to large domestic clients, family offices, and NRI investors. He aims to deliver solutions to clients for both their domestic and global investments. Additionally, he will also spearhead the recruitment of over 100 bankers in India over the next three years. The firm is targeting onboarding 2,000 families in its clientele globally, with a strong focus on markets such as Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Spain, and Japan.

Ian D’Souza, Country Head of Klay India, expressed enthusiasm about Singh’s appointment, stating that his extensive experience across leading global institutions makes him well-suited to lead Klay’s expansion in North and West India. He highlighted that Singh’s expertise will be pivotal in building a strong team and delivering exceptional wealth management solutions to clients, both domestically and internationally, as the firm embarks on a significant growth phase.
